Every soccer team has their own brand color(s) that they stick to throughout their history in the game.
Even though most soccer teams usually change their jersey designs every single year, however, one thing that doesn’t change in the main jerseys are the colors used.
Why? Because these main colors represent the brand. They represent the team and its history.
In this article, I will be listing some famous jersey colors, and some of the teams that use these colors on their home kits.
Note that I will only be mentioning a few teams per color just to make sure that we don’t have an endless list of soccer clubs.

4- Argentina (International)
Argentina is another country that wears blue. However, Argentina’s light blue is accompanied with white too. They wear alternating stripes of light blue and white.
Argentina has always been a great competitor in the world cup and in Copa America. In fact, they have recently won a historic Copa America (2020), and it was Lionel Messi’s first major trophy with his home country.

1- Toronto FC (MLS – USA)
Toronto FC is one of the American soccer clubs that uses red as their main jersey color. Sometimes, they include a little bit of black in their jersey, but the red color is always the dominant color on their jerseys.
Toronto FC has been performing well in the past few years in the MLS.
2- FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga – Germany)
The German beast is one of the soccer clubs that have adopted red as their main color. Bayern are easily the best soccer team in Germany and one of the best soccer clubs in the world.

AC Milan wears a red and black jersey. The team’s jersey has a lot of black in it, but red is usually associated with AC Milan and red is always part of their main jersey.

Liverpool FC wears the red color. In fact, they are literally called “The Reds”. Liverpool’s jersey is usually red from top to bottom.

Man United, aka “The Red Devils” are one of the teams that use the red color on their jerseys.
Man United has usually been one of the top competitors in the Premier league and they are a club with a great history.

1- Juventus FC (Serie A – Italy)
Juventus wears black and white. But usually, they are associated with black as a brand. Their own logo is full black.
Juventus are one of the best soccer clubs in Italy. They have dominated the Serie A league for a long period of time recently. However, the other Serie A teams are currently stepping up and the competition in the league is getting much more interesting.
2- CF Montreal (MLS – USA)
CF Montreal uses black and dark blue in their brand. However, black is usually dominant on their jerseys.
3- Atlanta United (MLS – USA)
Atlanta United is another MLS team that incorporates the black colors into its jersey. The team is known for their red and black colors in both their logo and their main jersey.
Soccer teams with green jerseys
1- Portland Timbers (MLS – USA)
Portland Timbers are an MLS soccer team with great records. They have managed to win the MLS cup in 2015.
They also happen to wear jerseys with the dark green color on them. Their own logo also contains a lot of green in it.
2- Real Betis FC (La Liga – Spain)
Real Betis is a Spanish soccer club that wears a jersey with white and green stripes. The green is usually the dominating color.
It’s true that Real Betis aren’t usually grabbing titles very often, however, they are still a great soccer team.
La Liga is very competitive and it has a few giant clubs that have been dominating the league for decades.
In other words, while Real Betis do not usually end up being direct competitors for the title, they are still one of the good teams in the soccer world.
3- Wolfsburg FC (Bundesliga – Germany)
Wolfsburg is a German team that uses light green as their main jersey color.
While it is hard to grab the Bundesliga title from Bayern Munich FC, the Wolfsburg team have been ranking well in the Bundesliga table in the past few years.
Soccer teams with orange jerseys
1- Netherlands (International)
The Dutch team is most famous for wearing the orange color. Their jerseys are beautiful and unique.
The Netherlands are one of the top international teams out there. It’s true that they have never won a world cup, but they have finished second in 3 world cups.
In addition to that, they have always been a well respected opponent in the world cups and in the Euro competitions.
2- Wolves FC (Premier League – England)
Wolves FC is an English club that wears a very light orange color. The orange color is in their logo and their jerseys.
The wolves have been promoted to the Premier League after winning the 2017-2018 second division league, and since then, they have been performing well in the Premier League.
3- Dundee United (Scottish Premiership – Scotland)
Dundee United is a Scottish soccer team that uses orange as their main color. The team has an orange jersey with some black on it.
4- Montpellier FC (Ligue 1 – France)
Montpellier FC is a french team that doesn’t wear full orange, however, orange is part of their main colors.
They usually wear orange accompanied with blue.
Soccer teams with purple jerseys
1- Orlando City SC (MLS)
Orlando City SC is an American soccer team that usually wears all purple from top to bottom.
2- Real Valladolid (La Liga)
Real Valladolid is a Spanish soccer team that wears stripes of white and purple.
The team has been struggling a lot in the La Liga competition, and they have also been relegated to the segunda division after they have ranked 19 in the 2020-21 La Liga table.
3- ACF Fiorentina (Serie A – Italy)
Fiorentina’s home jersey is usually a full purple jersey from top to bottom.
While they haven’t been an excellent performing team recently, they are also not a bad performing team.
ACF Fiorentina has been managing to fight for its spot in the Serie A league for a long period of time, and they are managing to finish somewhere around the middle of the table.

1- Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga – Germany)
Borussia Dortmund are famous for their yellow and black jersey and logo. The yellow color is the dominant color on their jersey though.
This team arguably has one of the best soccer fans around the world. The Borussia Dortmund fans have a reputation of being some of the most loyal and creative fans in the soccer world.
The team is also an excellent team, and they are usually one of the promising competitors in the German league, and in the champions league.

One of the best international soccer teams in the history of the game wears yellow jerseys. Brazil are famous for their yellow t-shirts, and they are also famous for having the most number of world cup titles (5 titles).

3- Norwich City FC (Premier League – England)
Even though light green is the dominant color in Norwich City FC’s logo, their jerseys have a lot of yellow in them. In fact, they usually have more yellow than green.
The team was able to reserve its spot in the 2021-22 Premier League competition after coming first in the second division competition in the season 2020-21.
